2/24: Triple Play (3 one-act plays)

February 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Westmont Performing Arts presents

Three Original One-Act plays by Mike Levins

The Shaving Brush

Nelly, no longer able to live independently, must leave her home of sixty years and part with the things that hold her dearest memories. In the process she learns about what is truly important.

White Chocolate Moon

After writing a wildly successful first novel, Clayton Dinsmore has had writer’s block for twenty- five years. Can he overcome it? The key to his release comes in an unusual form leading him to find true inspiration.

The Four Questions

A part of the Jewish Passover meal is to symbolically welcome Elijah the Prophet into the home. What would happen if Elijah actually showed up in the home of a very troubled family?

“Each of these stories have the things I hold most dear; challenge, struggle, growth, and redemption. Each of these endearing characters is aided by an unexpected visitor. As long as we never give up, help is always near at hand. As long we have the courage to continue onward in the face of adversity, recognize help when it is given, and boldly go through the doors that open for us, life can truly be a miracle unfolding. I hope you will come and share an evening of joy and fulfillment. I’ve read these stories countless times and they still bring a tear to my eyes. I hope you enjoy these people as much as I do.” -Mike Levins
